Les Dames d'Escoffier International otorga el Premio Grande Dame a una mujer excepcional cada dos años. Este premio a la trayectoria y título honorífico se otorga a las damas en reconocimiento a sus contribuciones extraordinarias en los campos de alimentos, bebidas y hospitalidad.
Legacy Awards
Los Legacy Awards, apoyados por la Fundación Julia Child para la Gastronomía y las Artes Culinarias, fueron establecidos en 2009 por Les Dames d'Escoffier International con un objetivo en mente: brindar oportunidades de mentoría específicamente para mujeres profesionales en las industrias de alimentos, bebidas finas y hospitalidad.
The Legacy Awards, supported by The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, were established in 2009 by Les Dames d’Escoffier International with one goal in mind: to provide targeted mentorship opportunities for professional women in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts generously supports our Legacy Awards program.
Each Legacy Award winner earns a week-long experience working alongside accomplished LDEI members. The competition is open to professional women from the U.S., Mexico, U.K., Canada, and France who are not current or past members of LDEI but have a minimum of four years’ experience working in their industry.

LDEI M.F.K. Fisher Prize
The LDEI M.F.K. Fisher Prize recognizes outstanding works by women creators, in any media format, that have made important contributions to the understanding of the intersection of food, beverage and culture.
It was established by Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI), a global professional association of women leaders in food, beverage, and hospitality, in honor of renowned culinary writer M.F.K. Fisher whose trailblazing work encouraged deeper thought about the cultural significance of foodways.

Women of Purpose Award en alianza con YETI
Les Dames d’Escoffier International, in partnership with YETI bestows the Women of Purpose Award to an exceptional Dame who has set herself apart by making a positive impact in a local or global community, incorporating the important and complex realms of global sustainability, food justice, and public health. This Award celebrates a visionary Dame who has made strides toward improving our food system.
Beginning in 2021, the LDEI Woman of Purpose Award will be presented every other year at the LDEI Conference, alternating with the LDEI Grande Dame Award.
