Chef Megan Leppert is a San Diego native who began her culinary career at 17 years old. She graduated from the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of San Diego – California with an Associate degree in Culinary Arts in 2010 as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Management in 2011. In 2018, she graduated with her Master’s degree in Business Administration with a Hospitality concentration from Johnson and Wales University.
While at the International Culinary School at the Art Institute of San Diego – California, she worked as a pastry chef at a local hotel before entering the catering and personal chef business. She has competed in both local and national American Culinary Federation events earning 2 silver medals, 1 bronze medal, and a Western Regional title. In February 2012, Chef Megan began teaching the evening Culinary Arts program for San Diego College of Continuing Education and has since become the Program Chair of the Hospitality and Culinary Arts department in 2019.
